Focusing on what to do, and more importantly, what not to do, is therefore critical.
In a recent interview, Tim Cook (Apple) said ‘We believe in focus. And, so, we think that we can only do a few things well’.
There may be a lot of things that one might want to do, one might be capable of doing, but won’t be great at. Recognising this aspect, and saying no to many things is crucial for scaling-up a business successfully.
