Competitiveness is a virtue – In reality, with whom do I compete? Ultimately my competition is (just) me.
Setbacks may happen. Professional, personal.. What also happens with each of them is learnings. Let us look for it. Let us not miss it.
During an (angry) exchange next time, once am ‘aware’, am I able to choose words carefully? Can I work consciously to become ‘aware’ as fast as possible? Does it impact the rest of the exchange? Does it help address the ‘real’ issue? Does it help in relationships? Worth trying..
