Limits
‘Do work that pushes you to your edges’ – Robin Sharma. Stretch.. Go to the edge of (one’s) limits.. Many a times, then we realise that the limits were self-imposed. The limits that we thought as limits once become new normal. Limits expand.

Often we don’t know what our ‘reputation’ really is. Normally we have a fair idea about everyone else’s though.. When is the last time that I sat down, thought about, tried to figure out, my reputation?
It is not necessary for someone else to be wrong for one to be right. Conflicts seem combative. Is it possible to make it Collaborative? Inclusive? Is it possible to tune (re-tune) our thoughts, the words, the approach..? Every time?
Many a times, saying ‘No’ contributes to success. It needn’t to be offensive.. One part is for us to say ‘No’ – The other is to ‘receive’ ‘No’ from others. Practicing (both) helps..
Behaviour – Needs demonstration – Every moment. Is it worth (anything) having it as an attribute, which one doesn’t practise / demonstrate?
Successful leaders create a diversified team around them, than a monoculture with people resembling him/ her, or his / her thoughts. How to promote, build such a team? Difficult, as one needs to traverse few (personal) hurdles on the way.. Being open.. Being Non-judgemental..
Denial – It is easier to see in others than in oneself. Noticing (in oneself) and accepting seem the first challenge.. That means coping with it and addressing it, is an effort by itself.. Let us observe.. and try interpreting things the way they really are..
Great leaders respond to each challenge with a fresh eye, for what worked in one situation may not work in another. Dynamism, freshness in response – Yet being consistent, focussed..
Receiving feedback – a skill that needs to be perfected. Receiving feedback, listening with openness – assumes greater significance when making choices, taking decisions. When we offer a suggestion or feedback to another, what do we expect?
A leader is visible. All the time. Irrespective of / despite efforts to keep a low profile. Therefore, that awareness is important – that you are getting noticed – in everything that you do, every comment that you pass, every communication that you make, every moment that you live..
