Scaling-up businesses need to plan and engage in their talent hunt not just to meet their current needs, but to feed their emerging needs in future, as the growth is significantly faster. Therefore the approach to talent and hiring needs to be different.
One needs to always be on the lookout for the right talent for critical roles; and readily have, consistently develop, a list of prioritised candidates for key roles in the business. And hire when needed. At times, even ahead of the need.
